The H.M. Borges Madeira Wine is a quality Fortified Wine produced in the Demarcated Region of Madeira Archipelago (PSR). It's alcoholic strength varies between 17° and 22°.

Serving

We recommend serving the younger wines at a temperature that may vary between 13ºC and 14ºC and the older wines, given their greater complexity, should be served at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC in order to enjoy the marvellous organoleptic characteristics of the wine.  

Decanting

Some older wines benefit from decanting, namely our Frasqueiras and wines bottled some time ago to remove any sediment which may have formed over the years.

Storage

We advise you to keep the Madeira Wine bottles in a dark place and upright so that they do not have any contact with the cork, preventing its deterioration.
