Grape Variety: Exclusively from Tinta Negra harvested on the slopes of Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and on the south coast of Madeira Island. Winemaking by fermentation of skins with the juice give the tannins time to dissolve and enabling alcoholic fermentation. Stage In 650 litres French oak barrels to bottling.Tasting NotesColor: Bright amber color with orange and yellow reflections. Characteristic exotic wood aromas, caramel, honey and toasted almond. Small notes of iodine, tobacco and nuts.Gastronomy: Gracious and attractive for any occasion. It is a fine accompaniment to cheeses and it is excelent as a digestive. Best served at a lower temperature of 18ºC. |
